The Cloudelle app is operated by Cloudelle Hospitality Services Limited (Dublin, Ireland). You can ask us to delete your Cloudelle account and the personal data linked to it at any time.
This page explains how to make that request, what is removed, and what we may be required to keep.
Delete your account
You can request deletion of your Cloudelle account and all the personal data associated with it in either of these ways.
In the Cloudelle app
- Open the Cloudelle app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm your choice. Your account and associated data are then queued for permanent deletion.
By email
If you cannot access the app, email stay@cloudelle.ie from the email address registered to your account, with the subject line “Delete my account”. Please include the full name and mobile number on the account so we can verify it belongs to you.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the personal data we hold about you, including:
- Your profile details — name, email address and phone number
- Membership status, wallet balance and referral information
- Order history and table or hall booking history
- Saved delivery addresses and preferences
- Device identifiers and contact information linked to your account
What we keep, and for how long
We may retain a limited amount of information after your account is deleted, but only where we are legally required to or have a legitimate business need:
- Transaction and invoice records needed for tax, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes. Under Irish law these are typically retained for up to six years, after which they are deleted.
- Records tied to an open dispute, chargeback or legal claim, kept only until that matter is resolved.
- Aggregated or anonymised data that can no longer identify you, which we may keep indefinitely.
Once any required retention period ends, the data is permanently deleted.
Delete data without closing your account
If you would prefer to remove only some of your data while keeping your account open, email stay@cloudelle.ie with the subject line “Delete my data” and tell us what you would like removed — for example, your saved addresses or order history. We will action your request and confirm once it is done.
How long it takes
In-app deletions are processed automatically. Requests made by email are verified and completed within 30 days. We will confirm by email once your account or data has been deleted.
